Pages

Since the pages and sections of Kask sites are managed as folders and files, you need to create a file in your computer to add a page to your website.

First page

Navigate to your content folder. Create a file in it. Name the file. Filename will also be visible on the page address to your visitors.

Open the file in your Markdown editor. Edit the contents as you wish to be seen on web. Here is an example Markdown file:

# The Friendly Dog

Dogs are one of the most _popular_ animals in the world.
They are known for being _loyal_, _playful_, and _loving_.

## Why People Love Dogs

- They enjoy spending time with **humans**
- They can be trained to follow simple commands
- They often help people feel happy and calm

## Fun Fact

Dogs can understand basic words and even notice human emotions.

## How to Care for a Dog

- Provide fresh water every day
- Take them for regular walks
- Give them love and attention

If your developer decides to present your visitors a sitemap or a menu; then the page title will be the title in your document, which starts with the # character (eg. “The Friendly Dog”).

Save the document. Close the editor. Proceed to the next step.
